Sissi M. 

Florida artist, Sissi M. started painting in 2015.  Over the years she worked with several mediums to include various paints, resin art, scene settings, and paper mache sculpting.  

A self-taught artist, Sissi M. prefers acrylic paints and "any canvas will do" as she sees potential in many surfaces that benefit from a little splash of color.  For her, painting was an outlet from the day-to-day shift work as a first responder.  Delving into mental health studies to better understand resiliency with the harsh environment of her work, and find resources for fellow first responders, her art became her own therapy.  

In every painting and sculpture, there is a silhouette of a jackalope that has become her signature "easter egg".  Hence, Hidden Jackalope Art.  She shares her art with local charities to raise money at silent auctions and awareness at events for veterans and first responders.
